About Us

Dr. Okeke is the President/CEO and Owner of Medicalincs. Currently, through Medicalincs, Dr. Okeke advises and supports healthcare leaders and organizations on strategic solutions to enhance implementation framework strategy, improve operational efficiencies and outcomes, and increase revenue volume/revenue streams.

Collectively, she has spent two decades as a healthcare executive, advisor, physician, change management facilitator, and accomplished speaker and entrepreneur. During this time, she has delivered multi-million cost savings and improved population health outcomes. She has held several leadership positions, notably at Kaiser Permanente, Booz Allen Hamilton, and Johns Hopkins.

She currently also serves as a senior advisor to the CEO at Priority Partners (Johns Hopkins Healthcare) on board priorities, a board member of Lasell Village, and a Maryland Health Care Commission Advisory Council member on Primary Care Transformation (appointed by the Maryland Secretary of Health).

Dr. Okeke considers herself a “Value Creator” and is passionate about building leaders.

Nnamdi Azikiwe University Imperial Barrel Award Winners were at the office of the Vice-Chancellor recently to present their award.

 

Welcoming them, the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph E. Ahaneku, FAS thanked and congratulated the Team for making the University proud.  He said that the Team is living up to the motto of the University which is, ‘excellence, discipline and self-reliance’.  He also appreciated the lecturers of the Department for their mentorship which has translated to the success of the team.  Prof. Ahaneku prayed God to see the Team through so that they will excel at the Global Final competition in Houston.

Earlier, the Head of the Department, Dr. Nobert Ajaegwu thanked the VC for his support to the team.  He also appreciated him for the good works he is doing in the University.  He presented the award to the VC.  Speaking on the Competition, he explained that the Imperials Barrel Award Competition is being organized by American Association of Petroleum Geologists (AAPG) for post-graduate students in the field of Geo-Sciences.  In each of the seven continents apart from the USA, one school is to represent each continent after the regional final, while the USA presents six (6) schools from the six sections in the United States.

It is worthy to note that UNIZIK participated in sub-Sahara African Regional finals that featured four (4) schools, three (3) from Nigeria and one (1) from Ivory Coast, after which UNIZIK emerged first and were selected to represent Sub-Sahara African regional in the African regional finals which took place in South Africa, Cape town from 22nd – 24th February, 2017.  Following the stiff compet

This is to inform the University Community especially students that lectures for the 2016/2017 Second Semester shall commence on 18th April, 2017.  To this effect, students are expected to be back for lectures accordingly.

 

 

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Joseph E. Ahaneku, FAS has received eminent Nigerians in his office to kick-start the first UNIZIK Business School (UBS) Dr. Emmanuel Egbogah’s Budget Roundtable.

 

Welcoming them, Prof. Ahaneku said he was delighted to receive distinguished personalities for the maiden Budget Roundtable. He thanked immensely the benefactor, Dr. Emmanuel Egbogah for endowing the UBS Budget Roundtable, which he said would promote good ideas for the advancement of National Development.  He noted that young people will benefit from the discussion and as well wish to be like him in future. The VC also commended the Director UNIZIK Business School, Prof. Au Nonyelu whom he described as a Planner per Excellence for bringing prominent Nigerians to UNIZIK. Prof. Ahaneku said that the theme of the event, “Budget Processing in Nigeria: Challenges and Implications for National Development” is quite apt, because the discussion will help the University in their budget implementation and the country at large. Finally, he stated Management’s readiness to assist in taking the Business School to the next level.
