Since he can remember himself, music is a huge part of his life. Johnnson’s affluence came from trance music at all versions of it, from uplifting trance to hardcore.

Yoni Goldberg started his career at the age of 16, djing at local parties and small events. After a few years he was djing at huge parties and big name events in Israel. These days he owns his own radio show running over two ears now  at 1mix called “VocaSenses” where he presents one hour of the best vocal trance.

In the past few years Johnnson started playing Progressive Psytrance and just fell in love with everything around this genre.

I love djing at the forest the vibes there is something beyond words its magic“.

His style goes very progressive, you will find his sets full of strong kick, thick baseline and dark sounds. Pure progressive and dark psytrance.

Now he is working on two new projects, a new radio show to be  broadcasted at various stations where you’ll find him djing the best in the progressive psytrance genre.  the other project is in the studio working to release his own original music.

I have never listened to the entire Cybersex series that I produced from 1993 to 2018 until today. I was organizing my records and cooking and decided to just these play in the background. After all, it is Mixtape Monday. Listening to them was like reconnecting with a old friend. I could recognize this as me but so many years have passed that some of the connections seem foreign. I first came up with the Cybersex concept in summer of 1993. I had been DJing in the LA rave scene for a little over a year. Most of the tapes I had done previous to this one were mainly the standard techno of the day. Most of it being breakbeat techno that would soon morph into Drum N Bass and Jungle. Styles were changing and new genres were being defined. I really got into the Artificial Intelligence series that came out on Warp during that time. Albums by Autechre, Aphex Twin, Mu-Ziq and others were coming out and changing how I was listening to techno. I wouldn’t know what IDM was at the time but I was really falling for this sound. I was buying anything that I felt was different and unique but still danceable. The problem was that I didn’t know how to play these tracks out live most of the time. I would drop a Aphex Twin track here and there (Quoth was a favorite) but a lot of this was maybe to heady for the rave dance floors that I was fortunate to play on. But mixtapes were a perfect vessel for me to try these tracks out and mix them together

Around September of 1993 I felt I had a good collection of this style that I could put something together. I took the Cybersex scene artwork from the movie “The Lawnmower Man” and Cybersex was born on October of 1993. I remember placing them on consignment at record stores around LA and was surprised that it was selling well. I was still a relative new DJ on the scene but I think this tape being something a bit different helped it stand out. I got a lot of positive feedback from the tape and the

    Genre of electronic music

Psychedelic trance, psytrance, or psy is a subgenre of trance music characterized by arrangements of rhythms and layered melodies created by high tempo riffs. The genre offers variety in terms of mood, tempo, and style. Some examples include full on, darkpsy, forest, minimal (Zenonesque), hitech psy, progressive, suomi, psy-chill, psycore (fusion of psychedelic trance and hardcore), psybient (fusion of psychedelic trance and ambient), psybreaks, or "adapted" tracks from other music genres. Goa trance preceded psytrance; when digital media became more commonly used, psytrance evolved. Goa continues to develop alongside the other genres.

The first hippies who arrived in Goa, India (a former Portuguese colony) in the mid-1960s were drawn there for many reasons, including the beaches, the low cost of living, the friendly locals, the Indian religious and spiritual practices and the readily available Indian cannabis, which, until the mid-1970s, was legal. During the 1970s, the first Goa DJs were generally playing psychedelic rock bands such as the Grateful Dead, Pink Floyd and The Doors. In 1979, the beginnings of electronic dance music could occasionally be heard in Goa in the form of tracks by artists such as Kraftwerk, but it was not until 1983 that DJs Laurent and Fred Disko, closely followed by Goa Gil, began switching the Goa style over to electro-industrial/EBM which was now flooding out of Europe from artists such as Front 242 and Nitzer Ebb as well as Eurobeat.

The tracks were remixed, removing the lyrics, looping the melodies and beats and generally manipulating the sounds in all manner of ways before the tracks were finally presented to the dancers as custom Goa-style mixes.

By 1990–91, Goa was beginning to attract attention and had become a popular de
