American painter

Michael Todd White (born October 10, 1969, in San Antonio, Texas) is a figurative expressionistpainter. He has also been described as an avant-garde expressionist.

White was named the official artist for the Grammy Awards by the Recording Academy in 2007. His painting appeared on the ceremony's invitation and program book and served as the official image for the event.

His work was featured in the Inspirations of Oz Fine Art Collection, an exhibition commemorating the 70th anniversary of The Wizard of Oz. The collection toured designated cities all over the world including Miami, Los Angeles, Dubai, Japan, London, Toronto and Vienna.

In 2010, White was chosen to provide sketches for Coca-Cola Light in Mexico. White's six sketches are depicted on different faces of Coca-Cola Light bottles and cans, each featuring his distinctive box signature. This was the first time that Coke had collaborated with a fine artist to depict artwork for its label. The bottles were released in August 2010. As a result of some of these career achievements White has earned international recognition and a lengthy list of celebrity collectors.

Early years

White was born in San Antonio, Texas and attended John Marshall High School. White's grandmother, Wanda Spurlock, was a painter as is his mother, Kathryn Yahn, who specializes in traditional Southwestern landscapes. In addition to painting, Yahn is also an art teacher in San Antonio, Texas.

From 1991 to 2000, White worked in animation on various television shows, including Tiny Toons, and spent his final years in animation as the lead character designer for SpongeBob SquarePants. In 2000, White left Nickelodeon to pursue his passion of painting on a full-time basis.

As a new believer, Todd began sharing the simplicity of the Gospel of the Kingdom and what Jesus Christ accomplished at the cross. It was common for Todd to see dozens of people healed as he shared Christ’s love for them throughout his normal everyday life. Since that time, Todd has been passionately pursuing his call to see people fully walking in their identity in both the purity and power available in Christ. When Todd White began to receive invitations to speak, his pastor, Dan Mohler, invited Todd to utilize his non-profit called Neck Ministries as a method to operate within a fiscally secure ministry.

As the ministry continued to expand, Pastor Dan and Todd both agreed that the Lord was leading Todd to launch his own ministry — Lifestyle Christianity — in 2014. The ministry grew and Todd’s heart became more focused on activating the church in a daily walk of love and power. As a result, in January 2016, Power and Love Ministries — a ministry founded and directed by Tom Ruotolo joined with Lifestyle Christianity. These two ministries — now operating as one — were positioned to increase the size and scope of this unique evangelistic training. Power & Love is a three-day training intensives for people to receive hands-on experience in sharing the love of Christ.

In January 2016, Lifestyle Christianity relocated its headquarters from Abbottstown, Pennsylvania to the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Todd White was a drug addict and atheist for 22 years. His parents divorced when he was 11 and he was thrown into the foster care system and raised by Free Masons. Frustrated by the breakup of his family, Todd turned to drugs. He joined the Marines to become a man — and to straighten up his life. He went AWOL twice and ended up with dishonorable discharge. Drinking and clubbing, he met a girl and tricked her into thinking he was an amazing guy. She got pregnant and gave birth to a baby girl.

When his girlfriend left him with their daughter after years of problems, he was suicidal and he (miraculously) ended up in one church where he met Dan Mohler and he shared Jesus with him. Todd ended up giving his life to Jesus, but he was still strugling with addiction for five months. When he stole drugs from some dealer pretending to be a cop and the guy unloaded a nine millimeter at him, Todd heard a voice "I took those bullets for you. Are you ready to live for me yet?"  Todd decided to go to Teen Challenge rehab program where he had several encounters with Jesus and left the program after two months changed and free. Todd believes that redemption and righteousness are the foundational keys for living life as a new creation in Christ, and has since traveled the entire world sharing the gospel and living the full reality that Jesus paid for on the cross! Todd’s foremost desire is to see the Holy Spirit flowing through believers everywhere they go– work, school, grocery stores, malls, gas stations... everywhere!
