He said at the press conference that the Administration for Inspection Affairs engaged tourism and other inspection services in order to control compliance with measures in the hospitality industry.
"Inspectors on the ground act preventively and give instructions to restaurateurs on how to do business," said Davidović.
He warned restaurateurs and citizens to be careful and maintain distance and regular hand hygiene.
"This is the only way we will continue to demonstrate a serious approach to the problem of the coronavirus," said Davidović.
According to him, only one case of inattention is enough to cause dramatic consequences.
"We managed to ensure the 11th day without a new case, and we are on our way to being a corona-free destination. Whether we achieve this depends on our discipline. There is no reason not to follow the rules of the profession," said Davidović.
As he stated, Montenegro is the last country in Europe where a case of coronavirus has been recorded, and it is on its way to being the first country that, if discipline is maintained, will be able to announce that it is corona-free.
Davidović, commenting on the dates of border opening, as well as the impact of the crisis on the tourist season, said that the profession has a significant role and that the issue will be defined in agreement with epidemiologists.
"The opening of the borders depends on expert assessments and information from the Montenegrin market, as well as from the emission markets," said Davidović.
As he stated, the interest of Montenegrin tourism is to start working at full capacity as soon as possible.
"It would be very bad if hasty moves and carelessness lead to a re-escalation of the virus, because the tourist season would definitely be lost." We have to be patient for another short period of time and list
Davidović is leaving the parliament
The General Secretary of the Assembly Damir Davidović announced that he will leave the parliament in order to devote himself to private duties and possibly engage in private business, "Vijesti" confirmed.
Davidović verbally informed the leadership of the Assembly and a number of deputies about his decision, stating that he is leaving the post of general secretary for personal reasons.
Davidović was elected General Secretary of the Assembly in July 2009, which was preceded by a kind of scandal in the parliament when his predecessor, Milan Radović, held a press conference where he argued with the European Commission's assessment of the non-transparent management of the parliament's finances.
During Davidović's mandate, the reports of the EC on the progress of Montenegro regularly noted the strengthening of administrative capacities and the increase of transparency in the work of the parliament, which is now one of, if not the most transparent, state institution in Montenegro. Davidović was unanimously elected secretary general of the parliament for the second time in July of last year.
After the scandal with Radović, his election in 2009 was insisted on by Krivokapić, with whom Davidović worked as an adviser on foreign affairs before leaving for Miomir Mugoša's cabinet... While Krivokapić said at the time that he would propose a "non-partisan personality who would deserve the attention of both the government and the opposition with his references and work", Mugoš resented this appointment in the parliament, accusing the President of the Assembly of impropriety.
He reproached Krivokapić for not having consulted with him beforehand, stating that the appointment does the Assembly and Davidović "who has a completely different educational profile" a disservice. Krivokapić then replied that Davidović's promotion was discussed at the DPS Presidency two months earlier.
