Biography
Braco is known as a healer healing by only gazing at the people.
Josip Grbavac was born in Zagreb, Croatia to Viktor and Ivanka Grbavac as an only child on November 23, 1967. He is married, and he and his wife, Dinka, have given birth to one son, Andelon.
It is known that he obtained a Master’s degree in economics in 1991 and then worked as a businessman for two years before meeting his future mentor, the healer Ivica Prokic on October 11, 1993. Jelavic was immediately drawn to Prokic, and he quickly gave up his business career to work with Prokic. He spent the next two years studying under Prokic, until the latter’s death in 1995.
Upon Prokic’s death his pupil continued Prokic’s work. Braco built a center in Zagreb to receive visitors and quickly accrued interest from devotees, journalists and scientists. In 2002, Braco held his first healing gazing session, with an audience of two thousand attending. Braco continued to hold sessions at his Zagreb center, but also traveled extensively, holding gazing sessions regularly in such countries as Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Slovenia, United States, Denmark, Italy and Japan.

Braco
Braco (pronounced Braht-zoh, born Josip Grbavac, a.k.a. The Gazer) (1967–) is a Croatian man who stares at people. This is supposed to make them feel better. It's even claimed he can make people feel better by gazing at photos of them! He doesn't directly claim to have healing powers but, instead, uses careful language such as "people claim to have found inner strength and sometimes all-encompassing solutions to life problems". How did those claims first come in the world? Well, by staring intensely obviously! Or maybe it's the books and DVDs (not written by him, but that he's peddling on his site anyway) that claim he's not any ol' healer, but a "super healer". Braco never speaks in public, although there is a ten-minute 2002 recording known as The Voice, which is played back at some events and is purported to have healing properties. His chief methods of communication seem to consist of staring sheepishly, smiling gently, and waving; but not magic tricks.
Science
Braco himself has never been tested under rigorous scientific conditions. He has a few endorsements from scientists active in parapsychology (such as William A. Tiller and Stanton T. Friedman), which is not the same as serious scientific testing with a randomized controlled trial. There are also testimonials from experts with reputable achievements in science and medicine such as authoring the script for E.T. or being an ambassador, which also don't prove anything.
The chief "scientific" explanation being put forward is a piece of word salad, which is based on the 2012 German book Braco – Die faszinierende Welt von Mythos und Wissenschaft written by the Swiss Alex Schneider, an alleged professor with no publications and almost no internet presence. It borrows heavily from some of Burkhard Heim's theories, which have been rejected by the scientific community since the 1960 The Silent Evangelist There’s a new pseudoscience Braco (pronounced Braht-zoh) Hundreds of thousands in Braco doesn’t call himself It’s all very difficult And with the help of his publicity The Non-Healing Healer Braco’s biography 21 Days Many medical doctors have However, these doctors dabble Croatian faith healer Josip Grbavac (born on November 23, 1967), better known as Braco (Croatian pronunciation:[brǎːt͡so]), sometimes called "The Gazer", is a Croatian self-styled "healer". He does not touch, speak to, diagnose, or treat the people who come to see him — rather, he stands on a platform and gazes. He avoids direct claims to have the ability to help people with his eye contact, but it is strongly implied and supporters report it causing improved well-being. Braco was born Josip Grbavac in Zagreb, SR Croatia, Yugoslavia on 23 November 1967. He earned a degree in economics in Croatia, married and started a family. He began practicing "healing" after the 1991–1995 Croatian War of Independence. Braco's mentor was Ivica Prokić, a Serbian economist, whom he met in the autumn of 1993. Prokić suggested the name Braco, meaning "little brother." Prokić died in 1995 while on holiday. The two were alone on a beach in South Africa, when Braco says a "rogue wave" swept Prokić away after he had first taken off all of the gold jewelry he traditionally wore along with his socks and wallet. After Prokić's death, Braco initially saw people one on one, however, due to the large number of people who started coming to see him, he began gazing at groups. At public events, Braco stands on a podium following a ten-minute period of introduction and silently looks at the members of the audience for a period of five to ten minutes. Afterwards, during a period called "meditation and reflection" by supporters, believers have claimed to experience life changes, healings and positive experiences. According to supporters, during the "gaze time" they feel tingling, see energy or a golden aura, or experience peace or relief from pain.[10]
