Surbhi Chandna and I are complete foodies! : Naagin 5 actor Swarda Thigale
MUMBAI: It has been quite a challenge for actress Swarda Thigale to shoot for her first supernatural venture Naagin 5 as Mayuri.
In an exclusive conversation with Swarda, she got chatty with Tellychakkar.com about her experience shooting for the show and her bond with actors Surbhi Jyoti and Dheeraj Dhoopar.
Swarda shared, “It’s been really nice by far as when I joined I was really sceptical if I’d be able to pull off the character. This would be the first time I am portraying such a character on screen because I’ve been the female protagonist in my previous shows who is very naïve and simple whereas here I am playing an out and out antagonist. It was difficult as on the first day itself I had to tell the director to guide me as I was completely new and did not know how to shoot the scenes as the shooting for supernatural shows differs from fiction shows. Now I have got the knack of it and it is going smoothly.
It is lovely to work with Surbhi (Chandna), Mohit (Shegal) and the entire cast. We have a lot of fun on the sets and are usually discussing food for we all are foodies. Surbhi and I always discuss our meals. I am a maharashtrian so the pattern in which we cook sea food is different. She loves maharashtrian food and we are sea food lovers. Prawn curry is a favourite! Currently we are shooting with Dheeraj Dhoopar who is an amazing person to work with. He is very soft spoken and professional.”
Well said Swarda!
